Zack Freed is a Principal at FM Capital, an automotive-focused venture capital firm.  He has been with the firm since its inception in 2011 and was promoted to Principal in August 2022. In this role, he leads investment sourcing and due diligence and serves as a Board Observer for portfolio companies including DigniFi, RAVIN.AI, and RevolutionParts.

Freed previously worked at McCombs Partners, the family office of Red McCombs, where he focused on automotive and technology investments and served as E-commerce Director for the Red McCombs Automotive Team.  He holds an MBA in Strategy and Marketing from the Simon Graduate School of Business and a BA in Economics and Political Science from the University of Rochester.
