Michael Wood is the General Manager of Land Rover Chantilly, a proud member of the Euro Motorcars family. Michael has built his career from the ground up, rising from Sales Associate to General Manager, giving him a rare, full-spectrum understanding of the retail automotive business. Prior to joining Euro Motorcars, he served as General Manager of the Jaguar, Land Rover, and Volkswagen divisions at Checkered Flag Motor Car Company in Virginia Beach. Throughout his career, he has led multiple brands and teams, consistently driving performance by combining operational discipline with a deep focus on the client journey.
Known for his “hospitality-first” philosophy, Michael believes the future of automotive retail lies in creating experiences that extend far beyond the transaction. His leadership approach centers on transparency, trust, and intentional moments that turn customers into long-term advocates. Beyond the automotive industry, Michael is also an entrepreneur. In May 2023, he co-founded Lane Wood Properties alongside his wife, Gabrielle Lanzetta. The company focuses on curated short-term rental homes across the United States, blending hospitality and real estate to create memorable travel experiences. This venture reflects his broader passion for service, design, and delivering thoughtful experiences in every environment.
